Part Time Aquatics Recreation Leader – Pool Manager

$19.19 hourly
The Parks and Recreation team is currently hiring for a part time Pool Manager at the Midco Aquatic Center. Pool Manager duties include the following:
- Run the pool daily, including scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring all pool rules are followed.
- Keep an eye on the pool and pool area for safety hazards and fix them.
- Supervise and train pool staff, including lifeguards, cashiers, and maintenance workers.
- Take care of pool equipment and facilities.
- Order and manage pool supplies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Applicants should demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Lifeguard employment requires American Red Cross lifeguard certification. Applicants can apply without certification. The job offer is contingent based on successful completion of the certificate. If hired, the City of Sioux Falls will reimburse the cost of certification.
