Part-Time Shop Helper

Job Description

$15.99 hourly

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a Shop Helper. This is a non-benefitted position. The hours for this position are flexible working 20 to 25 hours per week.

Duties may include but are not limited to...
-Cleaning shop and car wash area
-Conducting minor repairs
-Picking up and delivering parts to mechanics
-Moving vehicles and equipment in and out of shop
-Dropping off or picking up vehicles from outside vendors
-Assist in the welding shop and assist mechanics when necessary
-Replenish washer fluid and minor custodial responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills:
-Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience.

Hours for the position are Monday – Friday, 11am-5pm with flexibility.
