Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Parts & Yard Assistant. This position will help support our repair shop by picking up and delivering parts, while also assisting with general yard and property maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver truck parts and supplies from local vendors
- Run miscellaneous errands for the shop as needed
- Help organize and maintain the shop yard and outdoor areas
- Mow grass, trim weeds, and assist with general lawn care
- Assist with snow removal and other seasonal property maintenance
- Help keep the yard, shop exterior, and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Move or organize parts, materials, and equipment as needed
- Assist shop and sales staff with miscellaneous projects and tasks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable performing physical and outdoor work
- Able to lift and move parts, supplies, and other materials
- Willing to work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of trucks, equipment, or parts is helpful but not required
- Must be willing to help wherever needed
Schedule
- Part-time
- Approximately 15-25 hours per week
- Schedule can be discussed based on availability
