Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Facilitate patient registration and check-in and check-out process
- Schedule follow-up appointments and assist patients with any questions or concerns
- Collect co-pays and payments for services
- Maintain accurate patient records and information in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic health record systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
