Job Summary & RequirementsJob Summary:This position is responsible for providing administrative support in the areas of payroll processing, leave and benefits, by playing a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of maintaining payroll systems, processing paychecks according to the bi-weekly schedule, entering data into payroll and answering questions regarding payroll, benefits and leave. This position will assist and collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to uphold Human Resources practices, record keeping and providing administrative support while abiding within federal and state laws and company guidelines.
Duties/Responsibilities: - Process bi-weekly payroll for salary and hourly employees with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify timekeeping information and work with supervisors for any corrections or updates.
- Responsible for data entry, filing and scanning of documents.
- Processes new hires, job transfers and terminations, including data entry, paperwork administration and communication to respective departments.
- Deal with questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
- Prepare and submit reports as needed to various departments.
- Maintaining confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards
- Manage the absence notification line and make contact with employees as needed.
- Prepare letters notices for employees.
- Complete verifications of employment.
- Administer and wage withholdings and garnishments.
- Conduct New Hire training for benefits and timekeeping systems.
- Administer leave and provide appropriate communication with employees, supervisors, HR manager and corporate benefits department.
- In collaboration with the corporate benefits department and the site HR manager, ensure that employees complete new hire, qualifying event and open enrollment for benefits.
- Answer general questions regarding benefits and leave.
- Assists the HR Manager with all administrative tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in payroll and benefits administration (preferred)

- Regularly remain in stationary position for extended periods
- Frequently communicate in some manner either by speech/hearing or through written communication.
