LifeScape is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic and collaborative team at the LifeScape Specialty School and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) in Sioux Falls!
A position at LifeScape allows you to positively influence the lives of students in a fun, child-centered environment. LifeScape’s therapy team is a regional leader in pediatric therapy for children and young adults with a variety of speech and language needs.
As a PTA, you will be supervised by licensed PTs with expertise in a variety of specialty areas (gross motor, sensorimotor, reflex development, seating/positioning, mobility, perceptual motor, spinal alignment, mobility, JROM, bracing/splinting/casting, muscle tone/strength, and more!). The therapy team of multiple SLPs, OTs, PTs, and BCBAs provide support and collaboration, as well as the opportunity for co-treating to maximize outcomes!

Want to work in multiple settings? Float positions are available and allow exposure to multiple pediatric therapy settings and patient populations, including outpatient, inpatient, and school-based settings.

Want to specialize in a particular area? Selected positions allow you to develop specialized training in the areas of feeding therapy, physical disability and rehabilitation, and school-based therapy.

Need to work certain hours? We offer many flexible options for hours, with opportunities for 30-40 hours/week for full-time. Part-time and PRN hours are also available. Not sure if we have what you need – just ask!

Love to collaborate? At LifeScape, you’ll work with one of the largest pediatric interdisciplinary teams in the region, alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians, psychologists, physiatrists, dieticians, and certified orthotist/prosthetists. Our unique interdisciplinary approach to care provides a positive, comprehensive experience for patients and allows you to learn from and collaborate with other experts in the field.
