Job Description
Installation of mechanical piping systems in both carbon and stainless steel. Work will include stick and tig welding of both types of materials, fit-up assistance and prepping of materials for welding. Work will include installation of piping systems ranging from 1/2" up to 12" schedule 40 and schedule 10 piping.
Job Requirements

Pipefitting involves repetitive tasks like bending, twisting, and reaching, requiring stamina to maintain these movements over time.
Pipefitters often work on ladders, scaffolding, or platforms, requiring good balance and agility.
Climbing ladders, scaffolds, or crawling in confined spaces are common tasks.
Pipefitters need to handle tools and materials with precision, especially when assembling or making adjustments to machinery.
They use their hands and fingers to grasp, move, and manipulate objects, including small parts.
Making precise adjustments to machine controls requires fine motor control and hand-eye coordination.
Good vision, including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, is essential for reading plans, inspecting work, and operating machinery.
The ability to hear alarms, equipment sounds, and communication on the job site is also important.
Pipefitters may be exposed to various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.), and work in noisy and dusty environments
