Plant Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer of custom, semi-custom, and standard industrial and commercial products. Their facility specializes in heavy-duty welding operations and produces larger, more customized products.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Assist VP of Operations
- Responsible for creating a safe, collaborative, and high-performing work environment where employees thrive, and safety, quality, and productivity are equally prioritized.
- Provide unified leadership across all shifts and facilities, ensuring continuous improvements in safety, efficiency, capacity, cost, and quality to meet customer and business needs.
- Leading plant operations by planning, directing, and coordinating the transformation of raw materials into finished goods.
- Driving employee engagement, performance management, coaching, and development, while ensuring effective onboarding, training, and retention.
- Meeting customer commitments by upholding product quality standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and core values.
- Collecting and analyzing data to identify waste, improve processes, and optimize material utilization.
- Monitoring plant performance against goals and budgets, ensuring effective maintenance programs, and facilitating year-over-year operational improvements.

Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
• 5S Methodology Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, with a background in sheet metal and welding manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, quality control, or manufacturing management.
• 10+ years of proven leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing flow, machine tool technology, quality assurance programs, and plant safety initiatives.
• Strong Communication Skills.
