Position: Plumbing Apprentice
Compensation: $TBD per Hour
Position Overview:
Reynolds Construction Management is seeking a motivated and reliable Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. The
apprentice will assist licensed plumbers with installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and
industrial settings. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade through
hands-on experience and formal training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems.
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
Prepare and clean job sites before and after work.
Help diagnose plumbing problems and determine the best repair methods.
Carry and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
Learn and follow safety procedures and local plumbing codes.
Support plumbers in testing and inspecting systems for leaks and proper function.
Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the supervising plumber.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces or various weather conditions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position
Standard hours will fall within Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with some flexibility depending on business
needs.
The role is based on-site of the construction project – must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather
conditions.
Travel Requirements:
Some travel may be required for this position
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials.
Work in tight spaces, heights, and variable conditions.
