Windom Area Health in Windom, MN is seeking a Pre-admission testing coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Pre-admission testing coordinator, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for upcoming procedures and surgeries.
Location: Windom, MN
Pay Range: $31.39 - $47.09/hr *Rates offered will reflect applicable experience.
Windom Area Health is looking for a full-time Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Coordinator (RN) to coordinate and complete preoperative assessments to ensure patients are medically optimized and prepared for scheduled surgical or procedural care. This role supports patient safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient perioperative flow through thorough clinical assessment, patient education, and collaboration with providers and perioperative teams. The PAT Coordinator focuses on coordinating the preparation process rather than providing direct patient care in the surgery unit. Qualified candidates must hold current Minnesota RN licensure and BLS certification, and have a minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience (perioperative, med-surg, ICU, or ED preferred). The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities while effectively communicating with patients and care teams. This position is Monday through Friday.
