About Us:
Oggie’s Sports Bar & Grille, located inside The Lodge at Deadwood, is a lively dining destination known for great food, a fun atmosphere, and top-notch service. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Position Summary:
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen organization, and supporting the culinary team to ensure efficient food service. This role is essential to delivering consistent, high-quality meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to recipes and standards (chopping, slicing, portioning, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
  • Assist line cooks and chefs during service as needed
  • Stock and rotate ingredients properly (FIFO method)
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
  • Perform basic kitchen tasks such as washing dishes or cleaning surfaces

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
