PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT CLEANING TECHNICIAN | Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 11:00am to 7:30pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Clean exterior surfaces of production machines and equipment (no mechanical work or repairs)
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain production floor areas
  • Clean around, under, and between machines and workstations
  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the production floor
  • Clean walls, ceilings, vents, and other hard-to-reach areas
  • Perform detailed cleaning in tight spaces and active work areas
  • Maintain cleanliness during active production operations
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and routines
  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and properly
  • Identify and report safety hazards or areas needing attention
  • Maintain organization of cleaning tools and supplies

Equipment Care & Preventative Maintenance Support:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on SMT feeders and related equipment
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks at scheduled intervals (cleaning, greasing, replacing chemicals, etc.)
  • Clean SMT nozzles and perform daily equipment readiness checks
  • Assist with upkeep of placement heads, gantries, wash systems, and other production equipment
  • Help ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for production at all times
  • Research equipment manuals and follow required maintenance procedures
  • Assist in scheduling downtime to complete maintenance tasks
  • Support or own maintenance-related tasks if a ticketing system is implemented

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task
  • Mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn equipment processes
  • Reliable attendance and consistent performance
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety expectations
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Bonus (not required):

  • Experience with cleaning, maintenance, or manufacturing equipment
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
  • Repetitive arm and hand movement throughout the shift
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Working in tight spaces and around active equipment
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and standard production environment conditions
  • Proper PPE required per ESI Safety Policy and OSHA standards

SCHEDULE

  • Full-time, on-site.
  • Pay is dependent on previous experience.
  • Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm
  • Occasional Overtime Saturdays 6am to 11am
