SCHEDULE
While the standard hours for this position are 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Monday – Friday), we are open to some flexibility. This role requires daily on-site presence and overlap with both production shifts to support equipment readiness and operational needs.
- Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Shift 2: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

WHAT YOU’LL DO
This role is responsible for supporting machine cleanliness, preventative maintenance, organization, and overall readiness of production equipment throughout ESI’s manufacturing environment.
You will work directly with our manufacturing engineers and production managers, ensuring machines, tooling and support equipment remain operational, maintained and ready to support efficient, high-quality production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and related accessories
- Support equipment uptime and production readiness through detailed machine care and maintenance
- Clean and maintain SMT equipment, conveyors, reflow ovens, wave solder equipment, ventilation systems, tooling, and production support equipment
- Vacuum loose components and debris from machines and feeder bases
- Assist with feeder repairs, calibrations, and equipment support activities
- Drain and maintain tanks, replace filters, and maintain batch wash systems
- Monitor ultrasonic cleaning systems and replace solutions as needed
- Identify maintenance concerns, cleanliness issues, or operational risks before they become larger problems
- Assist with implementing and maintaining preventative maintenance tracking systems
- Operate floor cleaning equipment and help maintain a safe, organized, production-ready manufacturing environment
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Facilities teams to support operational efficiency
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- Experience in manufacturing, equipment support, maintenance, automotive, mechanical or hands-on technical work
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Repetitive arm and hand movements throughout the shift
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work around active manufacturing equipment and in tight spaces
- Climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Must follow all PPE requirements per ESI Safety Policy and OSHA standards
