Production Lead | Shift 2 | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Mon–Thurs) Occasional overtime on Fridays (approximately 6 hours)
Pay: $19-21/hour with $1 shift differential

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Production Lead, you’ll support the success of a Focus Factory on Shift 2 by helping coordinate people, processes, and equipment to meet production commitments while driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on leadership role, part coach, part problem-solver, and part production expert.
To build a strong foundation, the first 2–4 weeks of this role will be spent working directly on the production floor alongside the team. During this time, you will gain firsthand knowledge of the work, equipment, processes, and the associates you will be supporting. This hands-on experience helps ensure our leaders understand the operation and are well prepared to guide the team effectively.
You will:
• Lead and support associates to ensure work is completed Done Right and On Time
• Help coordinate jobs within the Focus Factory and maintain awareness of production progress
• Identify risks to due dates, quality, or efficiency and escalate concerns to leadership as needed
• Monitor production rates by assembly, process, or work cell and assist with accurate recordkeeping
• Support assembly, soldering, and testing activities as needed, including in-process inspections
• Champion continuous improvement by supporting root cause analysis, problem-solving, and employee ideas
• Partner with the Production Manager, Facility Trainer, and HR to support skill development of associates
• Assist in coaching associates and communicating performance concerns to the Production Manager
• Observe attendance patterns and communicate concerns to leadership when appropriate
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Engineering, Quality, HR, Training) to resolve issues and improve processes
• Help balance line flow, assist with set-ups, and support new and existing product builds
• Uphold all company workplace rules, safety practices, and lean manufacturing principles
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of production and team success
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, prints, and documentation
• Experience operating or supporting production equipment and manufacturing processes
• Leadership potential with the ability to coach, guide, and support team members
• Strong problem-solving skills using Root Cause Analysis approaches
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership
• Clear, respectful communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
• Commitment to quality, safety, efficiency, and team accountability
SUPERVISION
• Provide day-to-day production leadership to production associates on the shift
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Manufacturing and production floor environment
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required
• Use of production equipment, tools, and PPE
• Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities to meet customer demand
