Job Description
Soles Enterprises is looking for a Production Manager to join our team and oversee our production department.
As the Production Manager, you will supervise all manufacturing activities including machine operation, shipping, receiving, and testing. This role is responsible for staffing and supervising machine operators and ensuring our tarps are produced according to demand and specifications.
Essential Functions/Accountabilities:
- Supervise machine operators
- Hire, train, and provide feedback
- Ensure machine operators have work to do
- Manage machine operator schedule
- Maintain queue in the company app
- Determine which tarps have priority and schedule production accordingly
- Maintain master roll inventory
- Maintain yoke inventory
- Facilitate biweekly department meetings
- Stage truckloads; palletize loads for LTL loads. Load trucks using forklift.
- Receive truckloads; document in the company app
- Test master rolls to ensure material meet minimum company standards
- Create, maintain, and update procedures
- Monitor quality of production materials
- Monitor production efficiency
- Perform month-end inventory
- Update and maintain ISO 9001 records
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Prior experience operating production equipment preferred
- Experience managing a team
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
- Must be able to operate forklift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to shift focus and prioritize competing demands
- Must have body mobility to stoop, knee, bend, reach and climb

- Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with skills, experience and ability to meet the position requirements.
