Production Operator

We are looking to add to our team in Production! Our ideal Team Member will share our Core Values, has manufacturing experience (or is willing & excited to work in manufacturing), and has a hunger to develop their skill.
This is an entry level position but for the right Team Member could be the launching point to grow into a variety of roles, as we are strong believers in cross training and continuously developing our team!
Here is what you will do:
- Use Shop Equipment
- Unload, load & stage incoming and outgoing parts using forklifts and overhead hoists.
- Inspect parts quality & out of standard conditions using digital caliper, micrometer, tape measure and learned practices.
- Remove, repair, and replace quality defects such as out of standard shafts and bearings using hydraulic pullers and presses, grinders, a torch.
- Provide Detailed Documentation
- Accurately complete shop and customer paperwork in a timely manner, identifying issues and tracking work completed.
- Identify and track incoming parts throughout the process, ensuring customers and fellow team members receive what is needed, when it’s needed.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to complete work on time and asking for help when needed.
- Own your area
- Clean and label incoming parts with the use of automatic and hand washing stations.
- Maintain the machines in your area, ensuring they are in good working order, while constantly looking for improvements to make each process better.
- Keep your area organized and tidy to better identify and eliminate any safety hazards.
- Look for growth opportunities
- Be open to learning additional opportunities like, assembly, weld, and machining, allowing for a flexible production team which can shift to where is needed.
- Assist team members outside of the production floor, when needed, to create a well-rounded and customer focused company.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in fabrication is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or a high-level of mechanical understanding is helpful.
