Job Title: Production Planner
Are you a tech-savvy strategist with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for precision? Join our fast-paced purchasing team as a Production Planner, where you'll be the critical link between forecasting, procurement, and inventory management for cutting-edge electronic circuit board components.
In this role, you'll:
• Analyze inventory trends and lead proactive purchasing strategies
• Ensure on time delivery availability of high-quality components
• Use advanced software tools to optimize planning, procurement, and reporting workflows
• Collaborate with Sales and warehouse to align inventory with production goals
• Work with the local and global purchasing teams to drive innovation and solutions for customer situations
What you bring:
• Exceptional computer skills and fluency with data-driven tools (ERP, Excel, etc.)
• Experience in inventory analysis and component purchasing (preferably in electronics)
• Strong organizational instincts and a drive for efficiency
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Curiosity to lean in to learn and understand customers, customer needs, and create solutions for them.
This job is located in Watertown, SD, M-F, 8-5pm.
