About the Role
Black Tie Components is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Production Scheduler to help keep our truss and wall panel manufacturing operation running efficiently.
The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning and sequencing production while balancing customer due dates, plant capacity, labor, and material availability. This position works closely with Sales, Design, Procurement, and Production and serves as a key communication point between the office and manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities
The Production Scheduler will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining the production schedule in MiTek Management
- Scheduling production to meet customer deadlines
- Balancing plant capacity, labor availability, and material availability across production lines
- Managing tentative production holds and releases
- Coordinating daily with Sales, Estimating & Design, Procurement, and Production
- Monitoring backlog, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery
- Identifying scheduling risks or potential delays early and communicating them to the appropriate team members
- Maintaining accurate scheduling information and reporting for the Plant Manager
- Helping ensure production priorities are clearly communicated to the manufacturing floor

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- 2+ years of production scheduling, planning, or coordination experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with scheduling or ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- The ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple departments
- The ability to stay organized and make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience
Experience with the following is preferred but not required:
- MiTek Management
- Truss, wall panel, component, or building-material manufacturing
Work Environment
This position is split between an office environment and the manufacturing floor. The role involves regular computer use as well as standing and walking throughout the plant.
Employees may be exposed to normal manufacturing conditions, including noise, dust, moving equipment, and required PPE while on the production floor. The position may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 30 pounds.
