Job Description
SUMMARY: Directs and organizes the people, processes, and equipment necessary to complete production tasks focusing on “done right and on time”. Ensure the success of team by 1) giving direction and necessary support to complete all required tasks, 2) identifying and escalating any concerns to the appropriate resources, and 3) being a significant part of continuous improvement, quality, root cause analysis, training, safety, and lean manufacturing. Understand and support all company workplace rules and practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(E) 1. Use and follow assembly instructions and other relevant documentation. Assists with assembly tasks as needed. Requisitions parts as needed.
(E) 2. Ensure growth and development of associates in order to meet production requirements related, but not limited to, assembly, soldering, and testing.
(E) 3. Complete/conducts performance evaluations and corrective actions; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
(E) 4. Schedules jobs through production areas. Identifies potential problems in meeting scheduled due dates and communicates to Production Manager. Responsible for monitoring rate per hour by process and/or assembly along with accurate record keeping duties as required.
(E) 5. Tracks attendance records for associates. Communicates attendance issues to Production Manager.
(E) 6. Responsible for ensuring that employee timekeeping, as reported to HR on the weekly time sheets, is accurate and complete.
(E) 7. Involves support team members as needed to ensure timeliness and quality of the job. (For example, if the assembly instructions are unclear, bring in the appropriate person from Engineering to clarify/add/change.)
(E) 8. Documents potential disciplinary problems and communicates issues to Production Manager and/or Human Resources.
(E) 9. Facilitates problem solving, scheduling, and employee idea suggestions and team meetings.
(E) 10. Assists with set-up and assembly and line flow balancing of new and existing products as necessary. Does in-process inspections as needed.
11. Performs all other duties as assigned.
