What you will do:

The Division of Child Protection Services (CPS) is looking to recruit a professional to assist in the implementation of CPS programs and services. The primary duties associated with the position include:

  • Act as professional program support staff, with oversight from the agency, to complete initial and ongoing eligibility determination for children in state and tribal custody for Title IV-E funding, a federal funding stream under the Social Security Act that supports child welfare training as well as foster care, adoption, and guardianship services.
  • Support the administration of the Title IV E program by maintaining accurate documentation, tracking training activities, and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Assist with preparing reports, reimbursement requests, and audit materials to help the state secure eligible federal funding.
  • Coordinate with training staff and internal partners to support IV E related training programs and activities.
  • Monitor data quality in required systems, address discrepancies, and support continuous improvement of data processes.
  • Provide administrative and program support including scheduling, communication, document management, and record retention.

Working Conditions:

Duties are performed in a typical office environment. This position is at risk for indirect exposure to traumatic events and crisis situations during regular work duties.
