The State Fire Marshal's Office is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Program Assistant to provide essential office support for the State Fire Marshal Program. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of several statewide regulatory programs, including billing, licensing, and compliance tracking across several regulatory programs. This role directly contributes to public safety initiatives, agency accountability, and the integrity of statewide fire prevention and regulatory efforts.

- Demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with experience in billing, invoicing, or financial recordkeeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
Knowledge of:
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and licensing processes preferred.
- Proficiency in database systems and financial/accounting software.
Skill to:
- Demonstrated experience in billing, invoicing, or financial recordkeeping, preferably in a government or regulatory environment.
Ability to:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines with accuracy.
