SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership and strategic direction to the LSS Center for Americans. Work with local, state, and federal entities to coordinate refugee resettlement in South Dakota. Provide leadership to the New Americans staff. Oversee compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and funding expectations. Establish and monitor performance indicators and outcomes measurement. Establish and monitor progress toward short and long term goals. Monitor public policy at the state and federal levels.
QUALIFICATIONS: A relevant Bachelor’s Degree, along with 4 years of related experience. A relevant Master’s Degree, along with 4 years of related experience is preferred. Experience with management and budgeting; grant management and oversight; and experience with refugee and immigrant communities. Strong communication skills.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
