WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS YOU

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

  • Reports to Controller.
  • Set up new projects in the accounting system, including budgets, contract terms, and ongoing project structure updates (change orders, revisions, adjustments).
  • Prepare and issue project invoices accurately and on time, aligned with contract requirements and billing schedules.
  • Monitor billing compliance, including milestones, retainage tracking, and required deliverables.
  • Track and reconcile project costs (labor, subcontractors, materials), reviewing timesheets and allocations for accuracy.
  • Identify budget variances, cost overruns, and performance trends, providing clear insights and recommendations to project teams.
  • Support project financial reporting and system/process improvements, partnering with project managers, operations, and leadership to strengthen project controls and execution.

 

Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; project or job-cost accounting exposure preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP with a solid understanding of project-based financial tracking and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using project accounting, ERP, or job-cost software.
• Analytical, detail-focused, and consistent in producing accurate, well-supported work.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
