We are a regional excavation construction company that specializing site preparation, underground utilities, and demolition services. We are seeking an Assistant to the Project Managers to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience and demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for for someone who is personable, professional, and capable of supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
This is a full-time position approximately 40 hours per week (approx. 8:00 to 4:30, Monday through Friday). We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, accident policy, paid holidays, PTO, and 401(k) with company match.
Job Duties
- Prepare and maintain job files and related documentation
- Prepare documents for job meetings
- Tracking of change orders and contract extras
- Assist with monthly billing process
- Assist Project Management team with administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Highly motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High comfort level with computers, Microsoft Office suite, and other technology
- Familiarity with construction, particularly heavy civil, a plus but not a requirement
Work Environment
Performance of duties will consist primarily of time spent in the office but will also include time spent throughout shop and yard facilities.
