Trace is a Military Contractor and is looking for a Full Time Project Manager to lead our team out at Charleston Joint Base Commissary. The candidate will manage a team of 15-25 employees in the successful execution of all contract requirements. Trace Off Loads Semi Trucks full of groceries. Trace sort’s the merchandise by Isle/Sections and then stocks all product to the shelves. In addition, Trace performs all custodial tasks in the Warehouse, Offices and throughout the Sales Floor. All work performed must be completed to a consistently high quality standard and will be thoroughly inspected after tasks are completed. Compensation:
- $46,000 Annually
- $ 2,000 monthly bonus – If production standards are achieved
- $500.00/month Housing Allowance upon successful completion of probation.

The individual must be disciplined and must have demonstrated work experience in the Grocery or Retail Industry. The candidate will report directly to the Regional Director and Vice President. Please note this is a full time position.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a team of 15-25 employees in the successful execution of all daily operations. The Project Manager will have an Assistant Project Manager. The PM will ensure that the Alternate is trained and scheduled to complement the overall success of the team.
- The candidate will be responsible to ensure that all staffing requirements are met and maintained. When needed, the Project Manager will be required to hire and train qualified personal.
- Needs to have a thorough understanding of all duties performed on Site. Duties include, offloading of trucks, Material Handling, Day Stocking, Day Custodian, Night Custodian, Night Stocking, cleaning and sanitizing of Meat Room.
- Responsible for assimilating and training of new personal. Must ensure every employee becomes proficient in their respective jobs.
- Ensure all contract requirements are met from both a process and quality standpoint. Will be required to identify and implement course corrections as needed.
- Will be responsible to monitor and ensure all Production Standards are achieved.
- Responsible to monitor and manage employees time worked by entering data into Time Keeper and Time Trex.
- Ensure payroll is completed accurately and uploaded on time.
- Interface with Regional Director, Trace VP, Quality Assurance Inspector and Corporate Office to ensure all Administrative duties are completed accurately and on time.
- Work with On-Site Staff and Quality Assurance Inspector to minimize expiring merchandise.
- Ensure all On-Site employees adhere to all Company Policies, Procedures and Safety Standards.
Qualifications
- Strong reading and comprehension.
- Ability to clearly communicate issues both verbally and written via email.
- Must have excellent problem resolution skill.
- Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in Grocery and Retail is preferred
- Must have excellent Time Management Skills
- Must have demonstrated experience in Management.
