The Department of Social Services, Division of Medical Services is seeking an individual with strong customer service, leadership and communication skills to supervise and lead the provider enrollment team. This position will supervise the provider enrollment team and assist with all work to enroll providers and maintain provider data. Duties include scheduling personnel, monitoring work assignments and status, training staff, providing leadership and evaluation, ensuring provider eligibility through the application of administrative rules and federal regulations and conveying these policies to the team. This position will also assist with testing various provider enrollment systems and development of training material.
The Provider Enrollment Team's duties include ensuring provider eligibility through the application of administrative rules and federal regulations; reviewing and approving provider enrollment applications and record modifications; comparing and validating data; coordinating record updates; answering provider questions; and educating providers on the online enrollment processes.
This position is located in Pierre and not eligible for remote work.
