The Department of Social Services, Division of Medical Services is seeking individuals interested in temporary employment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service and communication skills to join their provider enrollment team. This position works to enroll providers and maintain provider data which assists to ensure that access to medical services is available to the department's customers. Duties include ensuring provider eligibility through the application of administrative rules and federal regulations; reviewing and approving provider enrollment applications and record modifications; comparing and validating data; coordinating record updates; answering provider questions; and educating providers on the online enrollment processes. This position may also assist with testing various provider enrollment systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • basic computer use of Word, Excel and internet navigation.

  • comprehend, properly apply, interpret, and explain departmental rules and regulations to others;
  • compare information and recognize discrepancies;
  • effectively plan and organize work activities, adjust to multiple demands, and prioritize tasks to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
  • exercise tact and discretion in dealing with others;
  • gather and analyze data;
  • utilize computerized data system.
