Job Description
QA Testing Specialist
Our QA Testing Specialists are the ultimate “quality champion” — part detective, part strategist, and part user advocate.
They don’t just test software… they help build it better from the start. Working side-by-side with product managers, developers, and designers, they dig into requirements, spot potential risks early, and shape smart testing strategies before a single bug sneaks through.
From crafting test plans to putting features through their paces, they’re constantly asking: “Does this actually work the way a real user expects?” When something’s off, they track it down, document it clearly, and team up with developers to get it fixed fast. In short: they’re the reason things don’t break, users stay happy, and releases go out with confidence.
What we need you to do…
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to analyze project requirements and generate initial test cases and scenarios, followed by validation, refinement, and alignment with business and functional expectations.
- In collaboration with members of the project team, identify potential risks and cases to incorporate into test strategies.
- Work closely with development team members, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Execute test cases according to the test plan, documenting results and identifying defects.
- Report bugs and issues accurately, including detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce and communicate testing progress with project team members.
- Track and prioritize identified defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Collaborate with developers to understand the root cause of issues and provide necessary feedback.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing as needed.
- Promote the organization’s ability to create and positively manage change.
- Facilitate and foster creativity and positive team dynamics.
- Other responsibilities and/or duties as assigned to meet the needs and/or goals of the department.
You’ll Also Need…
- A minimum of a high school diploma and ability to learn fast and think critically
- Strong technical fluency and advanced computer skills — you’re comfortable navigating systems, tools, and environments
- A solid understanding and curiosity of how technology works — not just using it, but grasping how systems connect and behave
- A sharp eye for detail — you see patterns, inconsistencies, and risks before they become problems
- The instinct to look beyond the obvious — asking deeper questions and uncovering root causes, not just surface issues
- Clear, effective listening and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must be self-motivated, persistent, and have the ability to prioritize workloads.
- A working understanding of business processes and operational workflows
