ABOUT ESI

At Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI), we build lasting partnerships with our customers by delivering products Done Right, On Time, backed by Legendary Service.

For more than 45 years, ESI has provided electronic manufacturing services to customers in the industrial, medical, energy, agriculture, biotech, and commercial markets. Our success is built on people who care about doing excellent work, solving problems, and continuously improving the way we operate.

If you take pride in catching the details, preventing defects, and helping teams build quality into the process, not just inspect it at the end, this could be a great fit for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Quality Facilitator, you’ll help ensure our products meet customer and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role is hands-on and highly visible, working closely with production, manufacturing engineering, and leadership to inspect, communicate, and drive improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform incoming, in-process, pre-solder, and final inspections to ensure materials and products meet quality standards
  • Review and interpret assembly instructions, prints, customer requirements, and inspection criteria
  • Help identify and monitor critical checkpoints for new assemblies during the NPI (New Product Introduction) process
  • Document inspection findings clearly and accurately
  • Communicate issues quickly and effectively to Production Associates, Team Leaders, and other key personnel
  • Assist in identifying root cause when issues are found and help support timely corrective action
  • Place immediate containment on quality issues to prevent defects from moving forward in the process
  • Provide useful feedback and reporting that supports daily production meetings and continuous improvement efforts
  • Send out daily and weekly quality audit reports to appropriate ESI personnel
  • Support activities tied to Line Down events, CARs, SCARs, FPY, and general problem-solving efforts
  • Partner with Team Leaders and Managers to help ensure high-priority jobs receive the appropriate quality attention
  • Use Lean principles to support a defect-free, efficient manufacturing environment
  • Contribute positively to the team and perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, observant, dependable, and comfortable communicating quality concerns clearly and professionally.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, work instructions, and prints
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues before they become larger problems
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating well with others
  • Comfort using a personal computer and basic software tools
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software preferred
  • Prior quality, inspection, manufacturing, or electronics experience is helpful but not required

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role works primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires the ability to move throughout the production floor and inspect materials and assemblies with accuracy.

This position requires:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Repetitive hand and visual inspection work
  • Use of computers and inspection tools throughout the day
  • Working in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong focus and attention to detail in a manufacturing setting

WHY ESI

At ESI, quality is not just a department, it’s part of how we operate. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the work, solving problems, and helping teams succeed by building quality into the process.

When you join ESI, you become part of a company that values:

  • Legendary Service
