Quality Engineer

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Lead and support quality management programs, ensuring compliance with established standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
- Provide guidance, training, and technical support to cross-functional teams on quality systems, documentation, and best practices.
- Manage quality assurance processes, including internal audits, document control, record retention, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee and develop quality personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
- Coordinate and support certification activities, external audits, and ongoing quality system maintenance.
- Partner with suppliers and procurement teams to strengthen supplier quality performance and address quality-related concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with manufacturing, operations, and leadership teams to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and product quality.
- Support customer-focused quality initiatives, including audits, inquiries, performance reporting, and resolution of corrective action requests.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, warranty trends, and nonconformance data to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, integrity, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Participate in special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering equivalent.
• 5+ Years Experience in Quality Management and/or Quality Engineering.
• Knowledge of quality systems.
• Ability to travel some.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
