Recruiter – Talent Acquisition
We are seeking a results-driven Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts for our manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and onboarding hourly and salaried employees in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for skilled trades, production, maintenance, and technical roles and thrives in a high-volume hiring environment. This person would report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried manufacturing positions (e.g., machine operators, maintenance technicians, supervisors, quality technicians, engineers).
- Partner with plant leadership to understand workforce needs, production goals, and hiring timelines.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, community partnerships, trade schools, and employee referrals.
- Conduct resume screening, phone interviews, and coordinate onsite interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding paperwork.
- Participate in job fairs, community outreach events, and workforce development initiatives.
- Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and turnover rates.
- Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Conduct 1 week, 30-day, and 90 –day check ins after applicant is hired.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred
2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume environments.
Strong understanding of recruiting skilled trades and production roles.
Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location and Hours:
Location: 350 E 60th St
Hours: 8:00-5:00
Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
