Job Description
Push Pedal Pull is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Refurbished Exercise Equipment Technician to join our team in Brooklyn Park, MN. This hourly position focuses on inspecting, repairing, cleaning and refurbishing fitness equipment to ensure it meets high standards before being delivered to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving and takes pride in restoring equipment to excellent working condition.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming used fitness equipment to assess condition and identify repair needs.
Perform refurbishment tasks including mechanical repairs, parts replacement, adjustments, lubrication, and deep cleaning.
Test equipment to ensure proper function, safety, and performance standards.
Refurbish a variety of equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, strength machines, and other fitness products.
Document work completed and track parts used during the refurbishment process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Assist with equipment staging and preparation for delivery or showroom display.
Work collaboratively with the warehouse, service, and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
Experience repairing or maintaining exercise equipment, bicycles, machinery, or similar mechanical systems preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (50+ lbs) with assistance when needed.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
