Summary: Responsible for the development of an assigned territory in the USA. The Regional Sales Manager will prospect, qualify, and close new customers by selling Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), while meeting or exceeding monthly and annual quotas. This person will practice consultative, relationship-based sales to builders, contractors, property owners, and designers. Must be self-motivated, driven to succeed and have a “hunter” mentality. Office location – Enercept, Inc. – Watertown, SD

Distinguishing Characteristics:
Experience in the building industry is desired.
Broad technical understanding of construction methods and processes including high-performance, energy efficient construction methods.
The ability to communicate and work with builders, architects, code officials and building owners is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary job function is to meet monthly and annual sales goals.
Establish strong relationships with architects, builders, and property owners in target markets.
Interaction with associations including local Home Builder Associations and Design Professionals.
Receive, research and answer customer inquiries and requests regarding products, rates, and services offered to assure satisfactory completion.
Educates builders, contractors, design professionals, code officials, and other product influencers through lunch and learn training events, local trade shows and association events.
Obtain the most up-to-date construction documents for the estimating and drafting departments.
Usher a project to the booked stage in HubSpot. A sale is considered “booked” when Enercept has received an executed Proposal and a Project Down Payment from customer or a purchase order has been issued by the customer and accepted by Enercept.
Present sales estimates and proposals to customers.
Utilization of Enercept CRM to monitor customer interactions to determine focus of sales efforts.
Determining and analyzing the customer’s problems and concerns.
Establishing client relationships based on integrity, trust, reliability, and consistency.
Must be willing to travel 35% of the time. Some weekend travel is required.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
Required: Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Previous Experience:
- Preferred: 3+ years Outside Sales Experience in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated prior sales success.
