Position Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about preventive dentistry, patient education, and building genuine relationships. This individual will provide outstanding clinical care while partnering with our doctors to develop comprehensive treatment plans that improve our patients' overall oral health.

What You'll Do

Clinical Excellence

  • Perform comprehensive periodontal and oral health assessments.

  • Complete prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive therapies.

  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs and intraoral images.

  • Perform periodontal charting and maintain thorough clinical documentation.

  • Administer local anesthesia as permitted by state regulations.

  • Identify oral pathology and communicate findings with the doctors.

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and disease prevention.

  • Assist in developing individualized treatment recommendations based on each patient's needs.

Patient Experience

  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families.

  • Create a welcoming, comfortable environment for patients of all ages.

  • Help patients understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness.

  • Clearly explain treatment recommendations and answer patient questions with confidence and compassion.

  • Deliver care with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with doctors, dental assistants, and patient care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Maintain efficient scheduling while prioritizing exceptional clinical outcomes.

  • Support practice growth through patient education and preventive care.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture built on trust and mutual respect.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Dental Hygienist license.

  • Current Local Anesthesia certification (if applicable).

  • Current CPR/BLS certification.

  • Experience with digital radiography.

  • Experience with Open Dental software preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical hygiene experience preferred, although motivated new graduates with a passion for excellence are encouraged to apply.
