Job Description
Ophthalmology Ltd. Eye Surgery Center is currently accepting applications for a full-time, Registered Nurse-Operating Room, for our fast-paced eye surgery center. We're looking for a registered nurse who has experience working in the operating room, eye experience is helpful but not a requirement.
Our "eye only" ambulatory surgery center hosts the region's most experienced, comprehensive ophthalmic surgery and subspecialty surgeons.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, surgery center staff, physicians, and the public.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-volume surgery center and the candidate must be professional and able to stay on task while providing quality patient care.
Job duties include providing direct care and support to patients during eye surgery, maintaining current knowledge of sterile technique, executing proper use, care, and handling of surgical equipment, preparing the surgical suite, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. This position is full-time, Monday through Thursday approximately 36 hours per week. No overnight or weekend shifts. No holidays, no call.
