Registered Nurse (RN)

$10,000 retention bonus available for eligible full-time hires!
Pay: $36.50–$41.50 per hour. Starting pay is based on Bethany’s established wage scale and credited years of relevant experience. Shift and weekend differentials provide additional pay.
Schedule: Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available, with 8-hour and 12-hour shift options. Every other weekend is required.
Bethany Home Brandon is hiring Registered Nurses to provide care for residents in our skilled nursing community. In this role, you’ll use your nursing skills, guide the care team, and build relationships with residents and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ needs and provide nursing care according to their individual care plans and provider orders.
- Develop, review, and update resident care plans.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly to the appropriate provider.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Supervise and support medication aides and nursing assistants, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Work with providers and other departments to coordinate resident care.
- Keep accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate with residents and families about care, changes in condition, and discharge planning.
- Respect residents’ rights, preferences, privacy, and dignity.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Current RN license or authorization to practice as an RN in South Dakota.
- Sound nursing judgment and strong assessment skills.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond to changing resident needs.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Dependable attendance and availability to work every other weekend.
