$600 Sign-On Bonus Available!
HOURS: Onsite, Full-time, 40hours, Monday- Friday; occasional evenings and weekends, and on-call consultation, as needed.
SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and oversee prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing standards.
- Responsible for security of medications.
- Conduct sick call each morning.
- Prepare equipment and aid Physician, Psychiatrist or Psychologist during treatment, examination and evaluation of residents.
- Maintain comfort and safety needs of residents.
- Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
- Respond to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol.
- Coordinate medication inventories with pharmacy on a scheduled basis.
- May transport residents to medical appointments.
- Schedule all medical, dental, eye appointments and follow-ups as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently licensed in South Dakota as an RN.
- Must hold a minimum of an associate’s degree, and one year experience in nursing.
- Must be knowledgeable of Title 19, Indian Health and insurance management systems.
- Requires a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards.
- Must successfully complete all agency background checks, which include checks for criminal convictions, behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes.
