Remodeling Technician
Department: Remodeling
Salary Range: $25-32/hr DOE
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to perform general carpentry repairs, drywall installation and finishing for commercial and residential remodeling projects. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong commitment to quality workmanship, and excellent communication abilities. Occasional painting duties may be required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform general repair work including siding, trim, cabinetry, and door/window installation
- Install, patch, and finish drywall (taping, mudding, sanding, and surface preparation)
- Measure, cut, and install building and finishing materials accurately
- Prepare surfaces and apply primer, paint, stain, or coatings to walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly manage leftover materials
- Follow safety protocols and handle on-site challenges efficiently
- Assist with inventory tracking and organizing materials and equipment in shops/trailers.
- Maintain tools and ensure work meets building codes and safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical & General Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs of supplies and equipment
- Ability to kneel, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in drywall and/or carpentry preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with local building codes and OSHA safety standards
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass a background check
