This position is full time 76 hours a pay period working three 12 hour shifts each week and one 4 hour shift each pay period. Varying shifts that consist of days, evenings, nights and every other weekend.
Our department is fast paced, different everyday. We have the only free standing Children's hospital in the state. Once you have seniority there will be less weekends involved. Opportunity to do new things and challenge yourself.
Our inpatient RT's will work in a variety of areas including Adult Critical Care, NICU and PICU. RT’s are responsible for vent/BiPAP management, medication delivery, bronchial hygiene, managing RT driven protocols and patient education.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients to prevent, detect, monitor and manage disease and complications.
- Measures the patient's lung capacity to determine if there are any impairments.
- Collect and/or analyzes patients' blood and other specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to directly impact cardiopulmonary health.
- Offers diagnosis results and treatment suggestions based on the analysis of the patient.
- Provide education to promote preventative care, self-management, enhanced cardiopulmonary health and quality of life.
