Responsible for keeping all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) current.
Oversees and approves all stocking, displaying, and rotating of inventory.
Responsible for all hiring, training, and maintaining an effective sales staff.
Approves schedules, makes changes as needed.
Maintains entertainment ticket supply and sales.
Authorizes overrides for comps and/or redemptions per company policies.
Responsible for approving payroll.
Responsible of coordinating all promotions and all promotions are properly advertised (i.e. signage, direct mail, weekly inserts, etc.).
Resolves all customer complaints.
Responsible in getting all casino information (i.e. promotions, entertainment, and hours of operations for other outlets) to retail outlets and Retail Hosts.
Understands the nature of gaming as it relates to both retail outlets.
Ensures that all Retail team members are adhering to all company rules and regulations, including but not limited to confidentiality of customer files and habits, proper distribution of promotional material and entries, proper handling of files and data.
Responsible for evaluating all employee performances and reviews.
Provides weekly and/or monthly reports on sales, open to buy, inventory, and any other reports deemed necessary.
Responsible for all aspects of buying (i.e. meeting with vendors, selection of items, purchase orders, placing orders, budgeting, etc.).
Ensures proper department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed.
Attends all company required training.
Complies with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
Adheres to all safety guidelines.
Meets company attendance requirements.
Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Other duties as assigned.
