As a RISE Equipment Coordinator, you will promote and maintain a positive patient and family experience as the first impression of the organization. This position serves as the primary contact for all DME patients requesting services at our Outpatient center in Sioux Falls. This is your chance to make a positive impact and take the next step in your career.

In this role, you can expect to perform a variety of important tasks, including:

  • Primary contact for all DME patients, families, and referral sources requesting services
  • Maintains calendar availability of direct care staff
  • Responds to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Schedules evaluations and equipment adjustments
  • Enters, maintains, and updates patient demographics in the EMR as needed
  • Clarifies pre-service information with patients, family members or referral sources
  • Consults with providers, nurses, supervisors, and other appropriate resources to resolve complex patient needs or scheduling issues
  • Keeps the team abreast of order processing status
  • Tracks equipment to ensure receiving before scheduled delivery
  • Assists with invoice processing and order check in items
  • Assists with converting equipment quotes to orders with vendors
  • Take responsibility to completely resolve issues
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned

Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalency is required. A two-year degree is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a fast-paced office environment or healthcare office preferred.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or other chronic health conditions is also preferred.
