Job Overview: As a Route Driver with Roo's Sanitation, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class A/B CDL vehicle to collect and transport garbage and recycling along designated routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Driver #1: Drive designated routes in a timely manner, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Route Driver #2: Collect waste materials from residential and commercial customers, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
- Route Driver #3: Maintain accurate records of pick-up and delivery schedules, documenting any issues or delays encountered through a provided tablet and TeleRoute software.
- Route Driver #4: Communicate effectively with customers and supervisor, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional manner.
- Route Driver #5: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, reporting any mechanical issues for immediate repair.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Route Driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
