Additional Focus Areas:
This position will provide technical support for Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI) products and customers. The Tech Support team supports all AVPro Global Holdings brands, including AVPro Edge, AudioControl, Bullet Train, RTI, Murideo, ThenAudio, and Pro Control.
Here's what you’ll get to do:
Answer incoming calls from customers and help troubleshoot complex systems. This represents a majority of daily tasks. You will interact with A/V Field Service Technicians to provide technical support with:
Audio/Visual systems in commercial environments such as education, government, entertainment, and houses of worship
Network deployment
Networked AV-over-IP systems
HDMI and HDBaseT signal distribution
Video walls and signage systems
HDMI testing and troubleshooting equipment
Control systems, including Control4, Crestron, Elan, Q-Sys, Savant, and others
Work toward pulling information together to deliver a solution to customers.
Refer concerns about product or service failure to appropriate personnel for examination.
Occasionally travel to client locations providing technical solutions.
Occasional trade show attendance, such as CEDIA and InfoComm.

These items are a plus but not required:
Networking background or experience with networks, switches, and configurations
Significant A/V troubleshooting experience; elements of system design; use of matrix switchers, AV-over-IP systems, and HDMI point-to-point signal distribution
CTS, CEDIA, ISF Certification, or similar accreditations
HDMI test equipment experience
Knowledge of control systems such as Control4, Crestron, Q-Sys, and others, including programming and troubleshooting firmware/software issues
What we offer:
Hours/Pay:
Full-time, Monday through Friday
Shifts range between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST (call volume varies and is often busier in late mornings and early evenings supporting West Coast callers)
Market-competitive hourly wage depending on experience
