Safety Manager

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Reports to the Plant Manager and Director of Human Resources
- No Direct Reports.
- Lead workplace safety and environmental efforts by proactively identifying risks across operations and implementing practical solutions that protect employees and maintain compliance.
- Design and deliver training programs that build a culture of safety, ensuring teams are prepared for daily operations as well as emergency situations.
- Establish and continuously improve safety policies, inspection routines, and procedures to support consistent, company-wide standards.
- Monitor and reinforce compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Partner with leadership and frontline teams to address incidents, manage workers’ compensation processes, and support safe return-to-work initiatives.
- Oversee safety systems and resources—including PPE, hazard communication, and committee engagement—to drive accountability and ongoing improvement.
Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE
• 3+ Years Related Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Safety OSHA or Related Field.
• Certified Safety Professifonal – Preferred.
• Bi-lingual – Preferred.
