Sage Creek Grille: Prep Cook- Opening for the 2026 Season Mid-April
A Prep Cook is responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients. Their duties include batch cooking to company recipe standards, organizing and labeling food items, product rotation, performing tasks like chopping ingredients, portioning, and sanitizing their work station during and after service.
A cook in our kitchen will have the basic knowledge/ability to:
- handle knives
- use kitchen equipment, like slicers, broilers, grills, ovens, etc.
- be on their feet for up to 8 hours at a time
- communicate effectively
- keep their space organized and clean
- work independently and as a team
