Job Summary:
The Account and Logistics Representative is responsible for being a point of contact for our valued customers. This multifaceted position involves nurturing existing business relationships, crafting project quotes, maintaining sales forecasts, and overseeing inventory levels, sales analytics, and performance metrics. The role also requires effective coordination across departments and clear communication with internal teams and external partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as a liaison for customers, proactively addressing their needs throughout the sales process.
• Promptly resolve issues and customer inquiries, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Serve as a day-to-day contact for small and mid-size customers, handling orders, follow-ups, and basic account questions.
• Maintain open lines of communication with dispatch, scale operators, and the production team to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address invoice issues, QC questions, and delivery scheduling concerns.
• Engage with customers on-site, in their offices, or at off-site meetings to foster relationships and gather information.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of our products and their applications. Maintain an in-depth understanding of material specifications.
• Cultivate strong relationships with haulers and other key partners.
• Support sales efforts related to specific locations or initiatives as directed.
• Monitor multiple sources for RFPs, tenders, or projects let to bid.
• Assist with sales forecasting, volume tracking, and inventory updates.
• Generate accurate quotes and finalize project details for internal setup, then follow up with customers to build relationships and drive sales.
• Proactively monitor market conditions, maintain detailed records of trends and customer activity, and assist in developing strategies and reports to support sales growth and improve the company’s position.
• Develop a strong understanding of competitor offerings and customer needs to help strategically position our products in the market.

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A four-year post-high school degree is preferred.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
• An attitude of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal, written, and presentation.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools.
• Previous experience in construction, trucking, logistics, or aggregates is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements:
• Demonstrated capacity to engage in occasional physical exertion, such as lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as executing tasks involving stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, prolonged standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and precise grasping.
• Incidental exposure to adverse environmental conditions, which may encompass extreme weather phenomena and contact with airborne particles like dust, sand, gravel, and diesel exhaust, among other potential elements.
