About the Role
As a barista, you are the heart of the drive-thru and in-store experience. You will craft handcrafted espresso drinks, blended beverages, and specialty coffees to exact standards while keeping service quick and warm. The goal is simple: deliver an amazing cup and an amazing interaction every single time. Our mornings move fast, so you will balance speed with precision, and our mid-afternoon stretches give you the chance to connect with regulars who make this location feel like a neighborhood gathering spot.
What You Will Do
- Greet every guest with genuine enthusiasm and provide amazing, personalized service from the first hello to the final thank you.
- Prepare espresso, cold brew, blended drinks, and seasonal specialties according to Scooter's Coffee recipes and quality standards.
- Operate the register, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and keep lines moving during peak rushes.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitary workspace, including equipment, counters, and guest areas.
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and communicate needs to the shift lead or manager.
- Follow food safety and health guidelines at all times.
- Support teammates during busy periods to ensure consistent, amazing drink quality throughout each shift.

- Availability for morning and mid-afternoon shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and lift supplies as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and following recipe measurements.
