Description:
The Division of Family and Community within the South Dakota Department of Health is seeking temporary Administrative Support services. This is a non-benefited position and exempt from civil service. Duties would include responding to immunization record requests, de-duplication of immunization records, immunization data entry, inventory request management, and providing other customer service and data entry as requested across the Division.
General Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge:
- office operations and procedures;
- records management and information organization;
- customer service principles;
- data entry standards and accuracy practices;
- confidentiality, privacy rules, and professional ethics.
Skills:
- proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Forms);
- database or case-management systems (varies by agency);
- office equipment operation (printers, scanners, etc.).
Abilities:
- professional communication (written and verbal);
- organization and time management;
- attention to detail and accuracy;
- prioritization and task management;
- problem solving and resourcefulness;
- adaptability and ability to learn new systems;
- customer service and interpersonal skills;
