What if your security expertise could do more than protect buildings and assets? At LifeScape, it can help protect the people, families, and teams who make a difference every day.
LifeScape is seeking a proactive, experienced Security Manager to lead security operations across our healthcare, residential, and educational environments. This is an opportunity to take ownership of organizational safety, strengthen security systems, develop effective emergency response strategies, and build a culture where people feel safe, supported, and protected.
In this leadership role, you will bring together people, technology, and thoughtful planning to anticipate risks, respond to emerging concerns, and ensure our security practices evolve with the needs of our organization. From managing access control and surveillance systems to leading emergency preparedness and supervising reception and security personnel, your work will have a direct impact on the safety and well-being of our LifeScape community.
What You'll Do
-
Lead Security Operations: Oversee access control systems, ID badges, key and fob access, video surveillance, and security technology. Identify opportunities to strengthen systems and recommend improvements.
-
Build a Culture of Safety: Develop, implement, and communicate security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans, including lockdown, missing person/elopement, and reunification procedures.
-
Lead and Develop People: Hire, train, and supervise reception area personnel and security staff, as applicable. Coordinate education on de-escalation, workplace violence prevention, active threat response, visitor management, patient protection, and incident reporting.
-
Respond with Confidence: Investigate security concerns, lead real-time incident response, and coordinate with law enforcement and other partners when needed.
-
Anticipate and Reduce Risk: Conduct facility assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate practical solutions through security planning, technology, and facility improvements.
-
Strengthen Emergency Preparedness: Partner with the Emergency Preparedness Team to plan and conduct drills, exercises, evacuations, and after-action reviews. Help translate lessons learned into meaningful improvements.
-
Manage Resources Strategically: Oversee departmental budgets, equipment purchases, staffing needs, technology investments, and security-related expenses.
