Shop Service Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment or machinery based on work orders or service requests

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, filter replacements, and system checks

• Inspect mechanical systems and report potential issues or failures

• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Assist with loading/unloading parts or equipment as needed

• Communicate effectively with shop manager, team members, and other departments

• Test equipment after service to ensure proper functionality

• Occasionally assist with field repairs or service calls if needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred

• 1–3 years of mechanical or service technician experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and schematics

• Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance software a plus

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in shop conditions

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday 7:30 AM - 5 PM
Occasional weekends or overtime may be required
